  • Daniel D. Carey, elected to a full term beginning January 1, 2022. Judge Thomas E. Trempe who retired.  1/1/22
Clermont Co. Common Pleas Court

  • Judge Kevin T. Miles, appointed to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2024. Judge Miles replaces Judge Jerry McBride who retired. This appointment leaves a vacancy in the Clermont Co. Municipal Court. 3/28/22
Clermont Co. Municipal Court

  • Anita M. Bechmann, appointed to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2027. Judge Bechmann replaces Judge Kevin Miles who went to Clermont Co. Common Pleas Court.  8/1/22
Cleveland Municipal Court

  • Andrea Nelson Moore, elected to a full term beginning January 4, 2022. Judge Moore replaces Judge Nathan Hudak who retired. 1/4/22
Cuyahoga Co. Common Pleas Court

  • Jennifer L. O'Donnell, elected to an unexpired term ending January 3, 2027. Judge O'Donnell replaces Judge Kenneth R. Callahan who was defeated. 12/10/22

  • Kevin J. Kelley, elected to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2024. Judge Kelley replaces Judge Wanda Jones who was defeated. 12/7/22

  • Mark R. Majer, appointed to an unexpired term ending January 6, 2023. Judge Majer replaces Judge Dick Ambrose who retired. 1/3/22

  • Edmund H. Kalil, elected to a full term beginning January 1, 2022. Judge Paul D. Henry who retired. 1/1/22
Eighth District Court of Appeals

  • Judge Michael John Ryan, elected to an unexpired term ending February 9, 2027. Judge Ryan replaces Judge Cornelius O'Sullivan who was defeated. This election leaves a vacancy in the Cuyahoga Co. Juvenile Court. 12/19/22

  • Randall T. Ullom, elected to a full term beginning January 1, 2022. Judge David L. Landefeld who retired. 1/1/22

  • Douglas H. Nobles, elected to an unexpired term ending January 4, 2025.. Judge Nobles replaces Judge Dana S. Preisse who retired. 12/19/22

  • T. Owen Beetham, elected to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2024. Judge Beetham replaces Judge Mark Beetham, his father, who passed away.  12/19/22

  • William C. Randolph, appointed to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2023. Judge Randolph replaces Judge David McKenna who retired.  4/18/22

  • Jason M. Despetorich, appointed to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2024. Judge Despetorich replaces Judge John Wallace who retired.  8/1/22

  • Kathryn Alyse Rettich, appointed to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2023. Judge Rettich replaces Judge Robert Rettich, III who passed away.  12/5/22
Montgomery Co. Common Pleas Court

  • Angelina Jackson, elected to an unexpired term ending July 1, 2025. Judge Jackson replaces Judge Robert Hanseman who was defeated.  12/20/22

  • Kimberly A. Melnick, appointed to an unexpired term ending January 4, 2025. Judge Melnick replaces Judge Michael Krumholtz who retired.  4/11/22

  • Robert G. Hanseman, appointed to an unexpired term ending July 1, 2025. Judge Hanseman replaces Judge Greg Singer who retired.  4/11/22

  • Elizabeth J. Schuller, appointed to an unexpired term ending January 1, 2024. Judge Schuller replaces Judge Amy Rosebrook who was appointed to the common pleas court.  4/25/22

  • Judge Ronald C. Lewis, appointed to an unexpired term ending February 9, 2023. Judge Lewis replaces Judge Michael T. Hall who retired. This appointment leaves a vacancy in the Xenia Municipal Court.  1/20/22

  • Timothy R. Sterkel, appointed to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2023. Judge Sterkel replaces Judge Sterkel replaces Judge Gayle Williams-Byers who retired.  12/16/22

  • Rhonda L. Best, appointed to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2025. Judge Best replaces Judge Mark Repp who was suspended for term case no. 2021-0757 and then removed from the bench by Tiffin City Council.  12/5/22

  • Judge Cynthia Westcott Rice [formerly judge in the Eleventh District Court of Appeals], elected to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2026. Judge Rice replaces Judge Peter Kontos who retired.  12/12/22
Xenia Municipal Court

  • David M. McNamee, appointed to an unexpired term ending December 31, 2025. Judge McNamee replaces Judge Ron Lewis who went to appellate court.  4/11/22
