Appointing the FGB  An example of draft bylaws for the JAB and the FGB, kindly shared by Judge Mitrovich from the NEOCAP CBCF.  Correspondence between the Judicial Conference and the Ohio Ethics Commission confirms that FGB members are not required to file annual financial disclosure forms. This letter from the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline states that retired judges who sit by assignment may not serve on FGBs. A letter from the County Commissioners Association advising commissioners on making FGB appointments.

Transition from JCB to JAB/FGB The full text of House Bill 162 as signed into law by the Governor. Enactment News: House Bill 162--a Judicial Conference summary of the provisions in House Bill 162. Judge Richard Warren kindly shared a number of draft documents relating to the transition for the WORTH multi-county facility. Judge James DeWeese kindly shared this order transferring authority for the CROSSWAEH multi-county facility. Judge John Kessler kindly shared an entry relating to the transition in governance for the MonDay facility.
